Aspen is always a great place to spot more than a few fashion faux pas, and with Mariah Carey in town you're almost guaranteed a doosie. Here is the newly married Mimi strutting her stuff in a black and red ensemble, highlighted by a pair of enormous red Dior furry snow boots. Now while I'm all for practicality, especially in the snow fields, I can't help but wonder why she would choose a pair of boots that almost consume her legs. They also look as if she has two Jim Henson style muppets stuck to her feet. Perhaps she should have popped her pooch in one instead, it must be freezing the poor thing.
Ugly (Celebrity) Shoe of the Week: Mariah Carey's furry Dior snow boots

Chloe asymmetric leather sandals
These sandals are from Chloe's resort 2009 collection, so if you're thinking they look a little too summery for the current season, well, you're right. They're currently available to pre-order at Nordstrom, where they're $598, and I love the asymmetric strap and gold D-rings. I also love the tan colour, which I think is perfect for warmer weather, although the cream colour which is also available is nice too. These will look perfect with crisp linens and bright colours - it's just a shame that those of us with no need of a "resort" collection will have to wait until next summer to be able to wear them!

Nike Air Max Bizness Manny Pacquiao PE
This past weekend, Manny Pacquiao made his presence felt throughout the boxing world by defeating Oscar De La Hoya in one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.Manny Pacquiao, arguably the best boxer in the world right now, is a Nike-sponsored athlete. With that said, Nike has created this Nike Air Max Bizness PE inspired by Pacquiao. Containing a White/Blue-Red upper, this sneaker exhibits the Filipino national colors. It also features printed design behind the swoosh and a laser print Nike “MP” (Manny Pacquiao) logo design on the inside of the shoe.
The Nike Air Max Bizness has been worn by basketball players such as Zach Randolph and Richard Jefferson as well.
Gwyneth Paltrow reveals her new shoe obsession... Fendi suede ankle boots!
Stylista Gwyneth Paltrow has arguably become more well known for her shoes than her films this year, sparking a skyscraper heel trend that continues to dominate the red carpet right down to the retail stores. Now, she has revealed what her latest shoe obsession is while chatting to Grazia."I'm in love with my Fendi ankle boots," she admitted to the magazine.
Her passion for these boots are so apparent, that she has been spotted wearing them three times in the last two weeks (pictured right).
Red side-zip shoe boots from Dorothy Perkins
This is one of my favourite shades of red for shoes: it's kind of an oxblood, and it's the kind of colour that even those who shy away from bright, "Dorothy" reds might be persuaded to try. It also makes a really nice alternative to brown or black because it works with most other colours. But enough about the colour. I like the shoes themselves because they have a strangely "snug" look about them thanks to the little side zip, but the shape is still narrow and elegant enough to allow you to wear them for things like work, or other occasions where a pair of dress trousers or formal-style of skirt/dress is required.

Nike Womens Skinny Dunk x Paule Marrot - Cherries
Nike is redesigning one of their most used models, the Nike Dunk, to better serve the female Nike consumers. Called, the Nike Skinny Dunk, it’s aesthetically unchanged from the original Dunk but has been redesigned by a team of female designers at Nike to create a better fitting Dunk for her. A number of Skinny Dunks will be available for the ladies next Spring and Summer 2009. To play with pop culture, the above two versions uses a cherry print from the iconic 19th Century French Designer Paule Marrot. Via Freshness
