We've featured fold-up shoes a few times now, but I think these have to be the most expensive so far: they're by Lanvin, and they're £248, which seems like rather a lot to me for a pair of canvas shoes, even if they do come with their own travel bag! I think I'll be sticking with Redfoot's After Party Shoes, but if the Lanvin name is worth the extra money to you

Liberty collaborates with Nike on trainers
British heritage brand, Liberty of London, has teamed up with Nike by reworking its pretty prints into the iconic Blazer trainer.Fabric prints including Liberty's Phoebe, Nina, Venus Leaf and Strawberry Thief have been recreated to update Nike's Blazer style, first released 1973. They will be available from Liberty on Dover Street Market, and Nike's pop-up store from February 14th.
See by Chloe fold down sneaker
This has to be the worst shoe combination, who ever thought up combining the high top shoe with moccasin detail should be given snaps for giving the peep-toe boot a run for their money. Usually known for cool but quirky clothes and accessories, these See by Chloe fold down sneakers are letting the brand down. Or trying to take it to new levels. As I look at these sneakers more, it is amusing that their designer thought it interesting to give the high-top the same toe detail as moccasins, but nonetheless, why?
Kayne West unveils trainer range for Louis Vuitton by wearing them
Kanye West has revealed his brand new trainers for Louis Vuitton by being the first person to wear them. While leaving a LV boutique, the music megastar showed off his design to paparazzi who caught it all on video.Kanye first announced his collaboration with the luxury label back in July when he attended the Louis Vuitton show in Paris. His collection for Louis Vuitton, which so far includes some fairly basic white high-tops, is slated for June 2009.
Nike Zoom Kobe IV
One of the big names in 2009 is the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) which has taken on different appearances and concepts. This model is one of the first to be previewed and will be coming out in February. Featured is a combination of white, black and varsity purple perfect for when the Los Angeles Lakers play in their alternative white jerseys. The sneakers consist of white patent leather along with a hint of black and varsity purple. Lastly the Zoom Kobe IV X sports Kobe Bryant’s signature in purple on the back heel. Look for the sneakers when they drop next month.
