Nine West multi strap platform gladiator heels

Just when I find myself ogling Chloe Sevigny's next season Opening Ceremony multi-strap wedge heels and lusting after a pair of my own strappy beauties, Nine West come to the rescue with this platform gladiator which are available... without the wait.

While obviously not quite as detailed as the Opening Ceremony ones (those buckles are pretty amazing), they give you the super strappy gladiator look for what I would presume would be a far more recession-friendly price (£74 in case you were wondering).

Uh-oh. It's a platform sneaker, folks. The addition of platform soles to sneakers is something I can never quite accept, although, having said that, these are some of the least offensive examples of the genre I've seen. It may have something to do with that sunny yellow colour, or the fact that I do appreciate the thought of adding heels to casual shoes, even although I don't often appreciate the end result.
